I think you need American Express to purchase presale tickets for Wednesday.

The radio presales don't really include lower level or floor seats.

There's tons of floor seats available, if you're willing to pony up $500 for the VIP package.

Paying $80 to see Coldplay is pretty gay, I dunno how you would describe paying $500.

Saw them here in Edmonton on Tuesday. I enjoy Coldplay, but they are by no means my favorite band. My GF told me to make sure I had the day off when we were out on saturday, then she took me for dinner and surprised me with floorseats. Normally I would not have wasted money like she did on floor seats, but I am glad she did, their performance was unreal. The Light show, The glowing bracelets, the confetti, the big balloons, it was very U2 esque but on a smaller scale.

I felt bad for the GF because our floor seats were a little further back from the stage and she was so short she couldn't see much, so she had to watch most of the concert through her Iphone, but she got some great pictures and videos because of this. She actually got to touch Chris Martin after they finished their first encore song at the back of the colisium and ran by our seats to the stage.

Here is the confetti shower during Yellow

At the door we got some bracelets we didn't know what for. when the lights went out this happened

You can see all the glowing bracelets inthe background of these pictures

As a Joe Satriani fan, I will never, ever respect Coldplay.

I did not know of the lawsuit until a few days ago, I did upon hearing the Coldplay song in question (many months ago) think right away that I had heard the rhythm and melody somewhere before. I own thousands of CDs (over 90,000 tracks), not one Satriani song in my collection, but dozens where he is playing in a group. Coldplay you are guilty as stated, glow in the dark bracelets only deepen the guilt.

Not a fan of coldplay, but copying chord progressions have been around forever. Look at blues, and punk, they have "standard" chord progressions that's used by every band, in different keys, or other slight variations. Hell Nickleback songs all have the same rock chord progressions.

How that's a basis of a lawsuit is beyond me.

You can make a video analysis like the above video of every song and come up with a way to prove that it ripped off someone else.

Don't a lot of songs use the same chord progressions as Pachabel Canon or Stand by Me?
