Ooooo another good episode
If I'm keeping current with the pacing of the series to the novel, the next episode is going to be abso-fucking-lutely CRACKING.
yup shits about to get crazy in the next 1-2 episodes, the prince already got his crown of gold
Damn, didn't expect him to get backstabbed so fast, was hoping to get an update on Tyrion too in ep7.
Episode 7 was released on HBO Go, so there are torrents floating around. Too bad this week will be the same episode for me.
*EDIT* Yes episode 7 delivers.
Finally finished the book last night, so time to start watching the episodes.

Great series so far. They did a really good job with the casting.

Mamoa was amazing during the Son's vow. Seriously epic acting.
This is seriously one of the best shows on TV.
I am disappointed in the casting of GreatJon Umber.
Neds gonna lose his head!
Well, part of me was hoping HBO would ignore the source material and let Ned live, as I think Sean Bean should at least be nominated for an Emmy, as well as Peter Dinklage (tyrion) and I'm a huge fan of both of their work in this series. But Alas, old Ice fell and Ned did his "funny dance" as the Hound put it later in book 3.
If you watch True Blood, Lafayette should be long dead but they kept his character going, and I had bets going that they would do the same for Ned Stark. Bravo to HBO really for proving my guess wrong, a very bold and brave way to go, I just hope it doesn't kill the shows ratings and jeopardize future seasons. Most of the TV fans aren't readers of the books, and don't understand that Ned's death is really the beginning of the story, sort of a prologue writ large.
I can't wait for the last episode, I'm wondering what kind of CGI they will use for the last few chapters (not going to say about what if you haven't read the books- no spoilers) or if they'll go animatronic.
Holy, I didn't see that coming, but I like the show even more because of it.
I have no idea what's coming next, I should read the books.
The gf and I were talking, and Sean Bean cannot catch a break. In LOtR, he doesn't get past the first movie, sans a flash back scene, and now he gets his head chopped off before season 1 is over. As someone who has not read the books, they better follow this up with something amazing, because Ned Stark was one of the few reasons for watching this show.
due to budgets, you dont even get a battle of riverrun or get to see the twins much.. just some cgi background ><
ya I'm disappointed in the lack of battle scenes so far.
