I'm on Fido with a Pixel XL, so same network. I've never had a single dropped call or missing text. Call quality is excellent. I have service everywhere I go, even places I didn't used to, but that will vary from person to person. It seems to be better at hanging onto that last bar in the elevator, parkade, etc. but again YMMV.

Never had issues with my Note 3 with rogers, which part of Calgary are you in, also how old is your sim card?
