I will take your scrap drywall boards!

So after some crazy time with the gf I now have a moderate sized hole in my wall...What the story comes down to is that I need a smaller piece of 1/2" drywall to cover a 3' x 1' area of damage. I am hoping somewhere in the city there will be someone with scrap drywalls like this size. If you have any you are not using/going to be thrown away, please let me know and I will come take it off your hands ASAP.

FYI - a whole sheet of 1/2" board is like ten bucks.

I can get you some drywall, only question is when. Pretty slow these days but I often get full sheets that people throw out.

If you need small sections of drywall go to any of the new communities with new construction. There are always dumpsters full of scrap building material.

Pretty sure you can get half sheets at Home Depot as well.

I have some scrap pieces sitting at home but I can't remember if they are 3/8" or 1/2" and I am out of town for work right now but I will be back on Tuesday. I'll let you know when I get back if you are still looking by then.
