So, wondering on the pros and cons of having this done?

I did muffler deletes when I had a 07 G35s
Pros: Sounds way better
Cons: Increased Drone
It's not ridiculously loud. Increase in drone, rasp, and exhaust volume in general was pretty close to what a typical a/m exhaust sounds like.
Keep in mind, my car had a slightly different engine and exhaust than yours.

Pros: Increased attention from hot sluts
Cons: Increased attention from haters (police)
Pros: Increased status in the hood yo (NE represent!) Extra scene points if you floor it in playground zones while blowing vape smoke out your window and listening to bangra music. Sick G bro.
Cons: Increased chewbacca growl sound. May give you a headache.
Pros: noise
Cons: noise
I like G37 and I did a much of research of exhaust because they sound so nice. IMO I wouldn't go muffler delete, there needs to be some sort of restriction to get a nice sound and minimize rasp. I would go with the axle back route, can get a great sounding (and tolerable level) exhaust for a relatively low price. I imagine there are similar products for g35.

I'm not a fan of muffler deletes on the VQ. Get a cheap axleback if you want to make it louder.
Thanks guys..lol
Yep. Or get some aftermarket mufflers welded into the factory system in place of the restrictive stock units.Originally posted by relyt92

Would a full catback system be good for these cars? Throw in a resonator and it should have a deeper tone?
How much is a muffler delete ticket nowadays anyways? (serious question)
I don't understand why one would buy a semi luxurious car and then turn it into a NE buzz bomb? It'll probably just lead to "harassment" from CPS and pissed off neighbors.
Do naturally aspirated cars benefit any performance from a full exhaust system upgrade?
Headers sure. Axle/catbacks, not really from my experience.Originally posted by jabjab

Iam tempted just to say throw a Magnaflow muffler on and call it a day. They really sounds good on anything, look good with minimal cost outlay.
MAGNAFLOW MUFFLER FTW Do it Do it
A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.

If you're just after noise replace the muffler, don't waste an extra $500+ over that to go catback. Performance wise you won't really notice anything unless you do testpipes/HFC and go to a free flowing system from there. Please don't do that, though.Originally posted by jabjab
