so it has been a long time since i have posted an update, or done anything to the car really lol, but i have recently picked up the mod bug again, i have picked up a few random parts for my car, and i also decided to refinish my old rims for fun.
i bought myself a new steering wheel, i am thinking about getting it refinished because all of it is super mint except for the leather wrapping or whatever its made of.

i also got an audio console and black with red stitching shift boot

and i also got black recaros as well, i think it made the cars interior much nicer, it seems way more complete when your sitting inside the car

i also bought some new suspension for my car, they are tein RE.
they are gonna get my car realllllly low, they are not installed yet.

and for my rims, i am polishing them, so they will be a mirror finish, its a time consuming process, but im not in a rush to do them at all seems i already have rims on my car lol. here are some pics from the process so far

    strip paint

this is my first stage of sanding, i will need to work my way up from 320 to 1500 grit

so youre gonna put those rims on instead of the OG's? i dunno man, i like the OG's better, the stance with them kills it...or did you get rid of them? also the black recaros suit i 1000000x better, good work man.

Hello beyond, so recently I have purchased a house of my own, I now have a garage, and I also have aquired 2 egs this year, the garage is basically my dream garage and is loaded to the tits, it has a 3 piece bathroom in it, 2 water hookups hot and cold outside of the bathroom, a drain in the center of the garage and also has heated floors. The garage is massively oversized at 27'x37'. It has very good lighting and more than enough room to build my civics lol. As for the project, the rhd civic is basically going to stay as is for engine mods, I am mainly just going to restore it and make it mint with a bunch of goodies, keeping it clean and stock looking, as for the green civic, as of right now that will be my daily and won't be getting any extensive work done to it anytime soon, and it was in a minor front end accident but I don't know how bad it really was yet cause I've never tore it apart yet. I have a few parts that will be going on the civic already, but I needs a complete paint job first, so nothing will be put on until the body work is done, anyways, here's some pics of the cars and the garage of mine, I just finished painting the work bench area, I need to put all my shit away before I start working on the car, I just moved in on Thursday.

Pic of the garage before I painted and put all my stuff in it from my dads garage where all my car stuff was stored lol

It does have some rear quarter panel rust, and also some by the door jam, I will be swapping out both quarter panels and modifying the wheel wells to fit tires better

    This side is much cleaner

Type r swap, gonna clean up the engine bay a Ton and also do a mil spec harness

This is what's behind the closed door, I still need to clean the shit out of it lol

I hope to have some updates in the next week or so, gotta keep organizing my garage so I can start working on the car

As of right now I'll be keeping the type r, I do want to do a k swap on an eg, but I think it'll be a lhd one as I like shifting with my right hand more, I just want to have a mint rhd one for all the different stuff the rhd one comes with.

Hey everyone, the build has not quite started yet. I have been super busy with my new job busting my ass there, and also with fixing up my new home every night so far, my garage is near a stage of completion where I can start removing everything off the car, the last big job I need to do in my garage is repair the floor, it is all weathered and I bought a kit that should fix it and smooth it out again. But as of right now I did do a little bit of stuff to my green eg. Seems I am no longer driving the blue one anymore I removed the rims off it and put them on the green one, I plan on buying the blue one different wheels for when it's done anyways. I also had a set of spoon replica mirrors so I put those on the green one as my passenger one was busted off as well. I also have a set of gsr fat fives i am currently polishing, and i also have my old konig heliums that I was planning on polishing and have started those as well, the fat fives are much easier to do and those will be finished before the konigs. I plan on repairing the garage floor this week and getting the rest of the wall painted so I can install the last shelf and put the rest of my stuff away. Buddy who lived here before loved hanging stuff on the walls, there are like 150 drywall touch ups on this one wall alone, so that's setting me back on painting it lol, I sand all day at work and I really need to be motivated to sand after work for a good hour or two to finish this lol.

    Here's the busted ass walls

It's hard to see but there are white spots everywhere, the purple means the mud is still wet

The fat fives sanded to haven't done anything yet

    Before

    After

    The konigs polished

I don't know if anyone else uses this technique, but I really like it, I jack my car up into the air and allow the tire to be able to spin, I then use the bar from my jack and fold the lip up of the fender by pushing down on the bar and spinning the tire to roll the bar through, kinda like driving over it but with more control, I then lower the car so the tire just touches the ground and just starts to compress the suspension, the wheel won't turn anymore, but you can muscle through and roll the bar by hand until it rolls through without feeling very much pressure anymore, you then lower the car maybe a cm more and repeat rolling the bar through, until you believe you have achieved your proper roll, I find you get a very good shape and fitment to the tires you are putting on the car.

Pre roll remove clips and put fender liner above the lip of the fender to fold and close it into place

I had to drive down a gravel road and it sucked, but this spot was pretty nice, so my car is hella dusty, I am so sorry about all the shitty iPhone pics, my camera is fucked, I will be using my good camera very soon so the pics will be crystal clear lol

That's all for now, I will have an update soon for the blue car

Hello beyond, so I have semi finished my garage, atleast enough for me to park my cars in it now seems my garage floor is now sealed and cured, I only have one wall left to paint and I will do that sometime in the future, none the less I got my cars all parked in their positions now and I slowly started to remove pieces off the car, I will have more progress throughout the week, but as of right now my goal is to get the car stripped down and all organized, clean some parts up before I store them away, start the wiring and start the body work. Anyways here are some pics of the progress

Garage floor sealed, wall on the right painted

    Cars parked

    Rust

The rust goes into the door jam a little bit

    Before

After, it didn't turn out very nice from a vacuum, I may just replace it all, it's pretty beat up.

Hood hinges are pretty rusted up

This rear interior sure mounts differently than usdm interior

Rear is partially out, still have the other side to remove and headliner, I didn't work on it for too long tonight so I didn't get too much accomplished, I will continue on after work for a little bit this week, I have a mad itch to get this on the roll.

I am wondering if this is for my traction control, I gotta look it up

Anyways that's it for now, I will update soon when I get more done.
