Default Need a contractor for paint job, flooring, kitchen and bathroom

Calling for help from our fellow Beyonders. Need you to recommend a contractor.

Bought a house recently and it needs some work. Possession is not until mid June but want to hear some ideas and get some quotes.

House is a duplex, ~ 1800 sq ft plus basement. The house probably needs a fresh coat of paint and some new flooring in some areas. The basement bathroom also needs remodeling. Might consider renovating the kitchen as well.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance.

Should talk to InRich. He's a good contractor to have and I'm using him right now. Very happy with his guidance and results.

    Anyone else?

This is gonna be pretty special if I could find a Beyonder(s) to help with my renovation project since my agent (Jordan) and broker (Tim) are all from here.

Can almost call it a "project bEyond" lol

I would be willing to take a look at it as long as it does not get too complicated.

My dads a painter, works for himself. If you want to get in touch with him to provide you with a quote let me know. His resume ranges from T and T Honda dealership to Multi-Million dollar homes in Mount Royal (http://empirecustomhomes.com/). Good cash discounts $$. Lots of references.

Also, his partner builds custom kitchens:

I can get you in touch with him as well.

I used Straightline Painting based on Sugarphreak's suggestion. Shawn did a great job and beat the competitor's pricing, very impressed.

FYI: My house is in his reference pictures, 5 & 8 of the spiral staircase. He saved me at least 10K over other painters and options. When I checked out his references before I hired him I also got overwhelmingly positive feedback about his work.

Did he paint the metal soffits on your exterior or did he replace them?

Well I had Shawn at Straightline paint all my exterior trim, the front door and the garage door. I had a few small concerns, which he addressed right away. Great guy to deal with, and I am happy with the final product and the price.

It was nice to meet decent guy who was easy to deal with. Thanks Sugarphreak for the recommendation! I will take a couple pics and post them up here later.
