Yea I agree I wasn't very impressed with Edgar's performance. Also, (and I know this isnt always an indicator but) coming out of a fight looking like he did and seeing his opponent untouched it is odd that he figured he had come out on top. Granted most of the real damage was done early on Henderson just picked away at him for the rest of the fight and Edgar couldn't answer with anything big which is what he really needed to do.Originally posted by beecue
Yup, I laughed when Edgar said he thought he won the fight. He pretty much did nothing. All the strikes he threw didn't do any damage.
I am interested in what rampages injury was, knee injury maybe? I laughed during a post weigh in interview he was taking about how he wasn't able to cut due to the injury and then he healed up and :: "....I started cutting I cut 21 pounds but I couldn't get the last 6...." then near the end he says "I'm not comfortable saying how much weight I had to cut". Like we cant do the math
Hmm. That's weird. I thought aside from the upkick from Henderson, Henderson didn't do much more. Yeah, Edgar got the swollen eye in the first, but Henderson also never cuts or bleeds... Ever.
Edgar seemed to put together better combos.
I also don't think I was being biased. I happen to like both fighters.

Someone (?) on CJAY92 this morning was talking about insider info that the main event for the UFC in Calgary will likely be Cruz vs Faber III

Could happen. That haven't even made it official to come here yet. Apparantly Vancouver keeps having problems with them being there so we are next in line
July 21, UFC 149.
