Yeah, I don't know what fight he was in but he was lucky that one judge scored another round in his favor (somehow).

I think he's just angry he couldn't get Condit off his gameplan, like he usually does, and turn it into a brawl.

I havnt seen the fight but read what was on UFC.com and they make it sound like Diaz stood a chance in the decision. Either way glad conduit won seems like a good guy and great fighter just not the personality Diaz is.

I just watched the press conference, of course Diaz doesn't show. Condit may fight again before facing George near the end of the year.

I used to hate Diaz, but thanks to the primetime specials. I gained MASSIVE appreciation/respect for Diaz, so then I liked him. But how he acted in the octagon after losing was disappointing, what a sore ass loser, it seemed out of his character, unless this is how he plans to milk more money out of the UFC for facing Condit or GSP in the future. He lost BIG time to Condit.

That was some sweet vindication for Condit. For Diaz, BJ was washed up, so Condit was his first real welcome to the UFC. Some real competition in the UFC after all those B-fighters in Strikeforce. I called Condit from half a year ago:

I'm calling it now, again. GSP will have no choice but to engage with Condit or look like a fool. And when GSP engages in striking with Condit, GSP will lose. We all know who the better striker is here. GSP's best chance is not with striking.

But the thing with George is that he's been out of action for so long we don't know how his striking has developed thus the inability to gauge its level. Condit's striking is impressive with the mix of hand and foot strikes he's able to put together. But to be honest, aside from the multitude of different combinations he put together, there doesn't seem to be too much juice behind his strikes.

Hahahaha Diaz. I didn't even think it was possible for me to have less respect for him but now I do. A small piece of me wanted him to win though so GSP could crush him. Diaz is very one-dimrnsional and I think GSP would easily just sit on him for 3 rounds and ground & pound.

Pretty average card overall IMO.

I think your underestimating GSP's striking. The only fights I've ever seen him lose the standup battle was after he got severly poked in the eye(1st Penn). GSP tooled thiago alves standing and I would say hes a better striker then Condit.
