iv been trying to think of how to explain my name for a while and it just kinda occured to me so ill bump this thread....

the main character in the poem "The Soft Doctrines of Immaginos" by Sandy Pearlman had the nickname Desdinova, so i just kinda changed it to Destinova... anyone who listened or listens to the Blue Oyster Cult will get it. he was guided by Les Invisibles through human history and influenced the eventual outcome (World War 1).

I was a huge gamer back in the day of the space-sim shooters, like Wing Commander and Starlancer and X-Wing and Tie Fighter and Descent 3 and all that... and they started asking people for handles for multiplayer games. I thought that "Vagabond" would be a really cool name to have, cuz it sounded all fighter-pilotish (gimme a chance, I was in my mid to late teens at the time!). However, a lot of other people thought that "Vagabond" was a good name, so I differentiated by adding "142" to the end of my name, mostly because those are the three random numbers I pushed, and it stuck.

Mine was supposed to be no_money2supe, but I was somewhat dyslexic with my typing; hence what it is. I didn't bother starting up a new account 'cause after due time and a few trader ratings, I just stuck with the name.

As for the "no money to supe" part, it came 'cause at the time I started my beyond account, my car had absolutely no mods on it, nor could I afford anything. I was a poor student back then that went through University year round not even having a part time job and just lived off of my RESPs. Five years down the road, I'm STILL in University but no longer have RESPs to support me, so I now work and earn enough to support both my schooling and my car addiction. Too bad over half my earnings go towards the car though.
