Drove by it yesterday. Some white tents set up on the patio area. Menu screens, fountain pop machines, everything were in from what I can see from where I was in on the road.

No idea about today as I didn't drive by it

Just need one is Westhills and we're set. (Except those deep south suburbia folk)

I went last week for the first time. It was as good as everyone else said.

Just had it today at Evanston location, I was in and out with my order under 15mins at lunch. The spicy chicken is not bad but I prefer marybrowns breading better.

Went twice on Saturday, by myself around 12:30pm, got my food and a table in 25 minutes (?)...then went back for dinner with my wife, around 5:30...got food and table in roughly an hour lol....food was amazing both times and we also took home an apple pie which is basically a churro outside and apple pie inside ...

Chicken was the best I've ever had, so crunchy yet so juicy inside and it still somehow felt "light"...the rice and beans were fucking amazing, I swear they put a lot of MSG in it. My wife had the fish sandwich and she loved it, same with the coleslaw, she was amazed there were real pickles in it!

Can't wait to go back!! Not looking forward to the wait though..

I have been to pop eyes once in Washington. It was really good. But I went to it the other day for the first time in Edmonton and I was pretty disappointed. The chicken was juicy and the skin was good but there was hardly any meat on the chicken. I got a 3 piece meal and fries and mac and cheese (gross, would not recommend). I was still hungry at the end and I felt that the best part of the meal was the fries.

I will stick with SFC (Souel fried chicken), check it out if you are in Edmonton.

Evanston location sucks for seating and if you want to eat in you will wait. We walked in and immediately walked out due to that situation

Popeye's has a drive thru because they just took over an existing building, wasn't it a Taco Bell before?
Would the parking needed to accommodate the same number of customers not outweigh the land used by a drive thru? I would expect a drive-thru is much more efficient use of space. Hell, I am more likely to drive further out of my way to hit a bank with a drive thru then I am to get out of the vehicle and go use an ATM. The same would apply to a fast food place. No drive thru would cause a fairly large drop in customers.
    Signature..... I ate it!!

Popeye's is better than any Korean fried chicken in Calgary... and apparently I'm not the only one who thinks so:

I wouldn't expect 17th to be any better honestly. So unless they open a location near me I won't be going back

The best Korean chicken I've had is at Bon-ga downtown. Never got the hype around Wow, Olive, Yum Yum or Mary Brown.

I've only tried their lunch special fried chicken, it was okay, I just don't like that it doesn't come with the fried skin, that's the best part!!!

I like eating Yum Yum when it's cooled to room temperature for a couple hours. The oil in the skin has solidified a bit and it basically oozes out when you take a bite. Yum.

It's kind of like day-old buttery popcorn.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
