I don't remember that, but I remember Harvey's used to sell Church's. That was probably like 25 years ago

The problem with that is company is known for driving down food quality to increase profits.

See: Burger King and Tim Hortens.

Since when were Burger King and Tim Hortons ever known for their food quality?

That's what I thought, Timmy's are never great to start with. But it's definitely convenient and cheap.

TH got terrible after they stated to par-cook their donuts.

BK's been terrible for almost two decades now. Their tomatoes are so thin you can see through them.

Carl's Jr and Burger King burgers have a very similar charbroiled taste. I prefer Carl's Jr because the rest of their menu and fries tastes better. At the end of the day though they're both bottle of the barrel fast food garbage and if you're past your mid 20's and still eating it on a regular basis you should be reexamining your life choices lol.

Tim Horton's is only good for convenience. Otherwise get a cheap Lumberjack sandwich and freshly baked donuts at Safeway and you're golden. Compare the quality between the 2 and it is just ridiculous.

There's 3 tiers of burgers for me.

A - Homemade burgers on the grill stacked high with whatever toppings I feel like (sunnyside egg )

B - New "fast casual" places like five guys and smashburger do a pretty decent job

C - everything else (mcd, BK, carl's jr) if I'm in a rush or feeling cheap

    Agreed.

I can't stand when people make comparisons between tiers.

"Burger King is so terrible... its nothing compared to the kobe burger I had in Vegas"

    or

"Five Guys is SO expensive. Might as well just go to Wendy's and get a couple JBCBs for a fraction of the price."

Finally got around to trying it last Friday. Showed up around 3pm and no line at all

Got a 5 piece strips (spicy) combo with fries and mac n cheese

Honestly not really impressed at all. The chicken was very bland and seemed like it was missing seasoning. Dipping Sauces were good tho.

Definitely won't be back for strips, but I'll give it one more shot to try some bone-in chicken next time

Tim Hortons stopped doing their donuts fresh when they were under Wendy's ownership. Their food hasn't changed at all since being purchased by Burger King.
