    Default Project C Square

Picked up another square body on the weekend. 86 c10, pretty clean body overall. Started pulling it apart when I got it home. Good base, mostly stock truck except the motor.

355 Motor is bored.40 over, 600 Carter carb, ported and polished edelbrock intake, 194 heads, mild comp cams with comp cam lifters and push rods. 4 bolt main, long tube headers. Going to swap the carb for a holley 650.

    On the trailer headed home

The exhaust was some cheap restricted resonators

Pulled a system off a short box we had kicking around. Flanges unfortunately didn't fit so so we had to fab up and weld a new set in and change the piping to fit the different body length.

Next up, I ordered new rear patch panels and inner liners. Roll pan and cab corners are on the way as well. Father In law is tuning the motor and installing stall converter.

    His car...little more power

    [[/URL]

And need to order new rubber

    More to come this weekend!

    Beautiful so want !!!
A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.

Yep, my all time favorite. Nothing crazy making a budget street truck and weekend dragger. Build up a bit more on the motor and get the stall and shift kit in, finish body work and that's mostly all for now. Paint and such will be over the winter. Still debating on interior, it's bench for now but most likely go to buckets and console.

Nice clean truck. I always take a second look when I see a square body GM with a clean body.

Got a couple free hours to put the pan on. Bought a bolt on, but after having to fiddle I decided to weld it.

Had to cut out a piece to fit the backing of the plate mold:

Bolted the ends for line up then tacked it on

On and lined up. Time to grind and primer

    And done...

Next is on to the drop kit

Right on. Looks pretty shiny, from what I can see.

I think this is the year I start on my truck. I just can't decide on airbags or coilovers, what motor, what transmission, wheels and tires. And I can't afford any of it anyway. But hopefully I can get a plan together by winter.

Been banging my head trying to figure out why the secondaries wouldn't open. Looks like they bent the shit out of the secondary lever and it wouldn't let the flaps open. Had to do some Jimmy rigging
