Default Q's about home AC units - where and what and stuff.

It was just too damn hot this weekend and i'm really leaning towards getting central air conditioning for the whole house.

I know i can get a brand new package including the unit and install for < $4k with whatever else is needed.

Have some questions though for the forum:

    1. Are there any beyonders that can swing a deal on an AC unit with install, needs to be legit of course.

    2. Does anyone have recommendations on a good reputable place that stands by their work?

    3. I've seen the units alone on Kijiji (not talking about the portable ones, I don't want one of those) ranging from $325 to $600. If I just buy the unit, what else do I need besides install? What should I be looking for?

Here's one I found for example. What else do I need besides isntall? http://www.kijiji.ca/v-heating-cooli...ationFlag=true

House is about 2500 sq. ft.

    Thanks in advance.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.
