32GB cards are too pricey...I think I'm just going to go with a 16GB. Its just a $60 dashcam anyways, I wouldn't need to go further back than a couple hours for footage.
How long did your guys' cams take to get here?
^ one day sale...
16GB Class 10

Just got one
It was $1 cheaper at Memory Express
just recieved the same camera as OP. Using a 16GB Micro SD *Patriot* from Memory express for $23. Video doesn't skip but my audio does. Anyone else having the same problem?
edit: nvm, for some reason watching the video's on VLC player causes skips on audio but i rewatched it on windows media player.

I wonder how well this would work. There are plenty on ebay and it's under $30 shipped. Crazy price, but probably POS:

Okay to verify, Is the power cord 5v or 12v? I have power to my mirror for compass and what not. Couldn't i just power it through there?
Sometimes you have to take a chance, whether that be on someone, or something!
1 evening's drive used up 4GB.
i love the quality of the video for the price i paid however the rattle in the audio is very annoying... anyone else having same prob or how to mute volume?
For those that didn't hardwire, did you just run the cable along the headliner or what?

Mine just arrived about an hour ago!
I'll see what I get in terms of video quality.
So the mount getting in the video is a little annoying, but unavoidable I suppose.
It does what I want it to, and the quality is about as good as I expected for $60. Two days worth of commuting used about 8GB. Now I just need to get it hardwired to my accessory.
Wonder how many 'spotted' threads will have dashcam video attached now?
it's avoidable, pull out the thumb screw and switch the mount around, the way i have mine the screen is parallel with the ground, but i's behind the mirror and i cant see it anyways so i dont care.Originally posted by Stealth22

Yeah I flipped the mount around this way, fits up behind my mirror perfectly that way. I'm thinking about covering the LEDs withs omething to make it a bit more discrete, you can't really see it from outside the car but those reflect like crazy.Originally posted by Thaco

Anyone tried the motion detection (parking mode) to see if it works with the battery? I haven't gotten the cam hardwired yet, but when I do, it'll be to the accessory most likely. Be nice if the (supposed) "4 hour" battery could run the motion.
I haven't had a chance to try it out yet myself.
Music kinda made me chuckle ... sounds like someone playing an OG video game.Originally posted by Cos

It does have that feature? I was hesitating on this one because others such as the Blackvue have that. I didn't see it listed in the specs. Good to know.Originally posted by Stealth22
