Sealing off a drain plug of a stock tank...help

I bought this 100G stock tank to be used as an aquarium.

What's the absolute best way to seal the drain plug off and on what area of the drain plug or surrounding? I did buy this:

When I had my 500L display tank (8ft tall, big water pressure at the bottom) I sealed up the original openings inside the glass bottom with plastic sheets and GE Silicone II (not the kitchen and bath series with anti-mould agents). That way the water pressure would continue to push down on the plastic as more water was added. 2 years and no leaks.

In your case I would do the same - seal it up with hard plastic from the INSIDE and then silicone the drain threads as well.
