Tomaz - you never contacted me back about this weekend. What gives?
D'Nutz - Interesting... I never pegged you for a gun enthusiast.

Haha yeah except the problem is I'm not finding any good prices on .38/.357. I was hoping there were deals on cases this weekend, but I didn't see any so I'll have to get a few 50 round boxes until something comes up Unless someone's got some boxes they'd trade for some 9mm?Originally posted by statick
Either of those two revolver rounds coming out of a 6" barrel is absolutely solid!
Haha just getting into it, though I'm definitely far from being as hardcore as many people.Originally posted by Kloubek

Very nice, gentlemen. In which calibers? My guesses are...
9mm Parabellum
My glock 17 is a 9mm, no need for two 9mm's :P

I reloaded a ton of .38 if you are looking. I can provide full data as well. I can't remember but I think I have 1100rds and no gun to shoot them with any more...I'd take 9mmOriginally posted by D'z Nutz

I want to get in to reloading. Seems like it would be beneficial with the 45 and all that. What do you figure you spent on your reloading equipment?

Started building my AR15, but since I'm in California, it has to be California legal...bleh. Just got my upper Stag Arms 2H and some Magpul goodies. Bought my lower receiver, just waiting for the 10 day background check to clear so I can pick it up, stupid California laws. I had to install a bullet button so the magazines are "fixed" to be CA compliance, but it can still be released with a small tool. Also got a Magpul stock and pistol grip for it. Pretty much a MOE AR15. Now to decide on optics...
Yeah I could probably take some off your hands. Let's work something out.Originally posted by TurboMedic

Haha you're not going to get any sympathy from us. Our background check is a minimum 28 days, though it's not unheard of if they take several months.Originally posted by Zephyr

Can't wait to see that AR fully assembled!
I was at 28 days for the waiting period as of thursday...just need the second reference to call in and it should be all done...hopefully actually get my PAL here so I can take my guns home from the range.
Anyone else here snap up the 16 gun safe from C-Tire? 50% off, $349.95. It's nice.

Well I was fortunate and adopted slot of my equipment from a friend who was getting out and was very well equipped....I got about every manual published, a dillon square deal with dies and quick change plates for .44, .45, ,357, .38, 9 and .40, Lots of brass and various other supplies....it worked out because I only intended to reload pistol calibre, so passed up on the 650 he had as well (he only had rifle dies so it would have cost a lot to get all the dies I did). I paid less for everything than a new square deal bare goes for in store....I'm behind now though because I haven't got anything left in my house set up any longer, so I've been purchasing my 9mm lately....I wish I had room to store this stuff in my house, and plan to build a proper reloading room when I build my next place....Originally posted by Go4Long

I'm bored at work and am looking at the Dillon 650 right now...we have an unfinished basement, so I have LOTS of space to set up, and it does look pretty simple.
I'd probably reload 45 and 308 for myself for now, and I have a buddy that wants to use it to reload 223. Seems like with the amount that I like to go shooting it wouldn't take me long to recover the cost.
Would you really save much on reloading 9mm? I buy the bulk at CSC so $75 for 300 or $0.25/rd, even using something like the dillon to make ~600rds/hr it would seem that it might be better use of your time to just go buy it.

28 days?! Dam!! Ours is 10 days, and only one handgun per month. California is the most strict out of all the states as my AR can only have 10 rounds per magazine, and a fixed magazine. Gotta be American and flex my second amendment rights lolOriginally posted by D'z Nutz

My application process took almost 3 months, my buddy who submitted his at the same time, took less than a month. I guess it really depends on the person reviewing your application.Originally posted by Zephyr

Are you going to change out that hand guard?
I'm sorry mate. Something came up and I had no way of contacting you. :-(Originally posted by Kloubek

Steve, that is a very attractive 1911. I was looking at the Sig 1911 Scorpion that was right beside it! One day. One day.
So, there is a new .22 pistol that has been added to the family. My buddy bought a Walther P22! Sick little thing!
Another exciting part of my gun-filled weekend was that I got to start training/practicing to take my black badge! IPSC has been an interest of mine for just over a year, and I can't wait to get going! I don't think I have had so much fun before. :-)

This isn't the one that was there...that one had rosewood grips, and they were just the sig grips, this one has the hogue grips, the night sights, magwell, rail etc...it's essentially the scorpion, but not in that brown color.Originally posted by Tomaz

On another note my Fiber Optic sights showed up for the glock 17...now just waiting on the trigger assembly

Gave it a cleaning, lube, and riced it up with some new grips.
