Beauty, mind me asking where you picked it up from? Do Canadian dealers sell bellow MSRP like in the states?

Looks great. Did you also look at the Beretta 3901/A400 and Benelli equivalents? If so why did you pick the Browning? I'm just curious because not too long ago I was looking at the above two plus the Maxus and it was hard to decide.

I buy all my guns at Wholesale Sports. They are owned by UFA, so they are an Alberta company. They have great staff, and great selection too. I was scoping out a new shotgun for me this year, and had previously bought one of these for my Dad, so I know they are great bang for your buck. I went in this week to Wholesale, and all Browning Shotguns are 20% off until May 1st. So I decided to pull the trigger. With the sale, I only spent $1300 and got polished American Walnut stocks, laser engraved receiver, upgraded gold trigger and full choke set.

    I also love gun puns.

I didn't spend too much time looking at the Beretta/Benelli, as they are just too pricey for me at this point. Plus, for some reason, I like the thought of having a lifelong shotgun, American and classy - if not old school - looking, in the collection. Plus my Dad has one of these, so it gives us something to work on and discuss together.

This gun is so light, and has incredible reviews everywhere you look. Plus with the sale, it only cost around $1300. I've also shot my Dad's Maxus and have always been really impressed by it.

My plan is to add a nice rugged Benelli Super Nova pump to round out the 12ga. collection in the next year or two.

    Fair enough, all good reasons

The Beretta could be had for $999 when I was looking (though more expensive versions were available) but I remember the Benelli was super expensive!

Hope this is allowed. Thought I'd post within relevant thread.

FOR SALE: BNIB brass dryer. $100... it's one of those things, when I started to purchase for reloading, the store (online store, so over the phone), just kinda said you need this that, you should get this. So I was more or less like a parent in 1993 at the original Future Shop getting sold on a $2,500 baller Pentium 60Mhz desktop for his grade 7 kid. Then now I realize that I got enough space and also without a wife, to spread 'em around to dry natural through out the house.

Yup. According to a trusted and knowledgeable Beyond/Gun guy, yup, it is. (not my quote)

In fact, there're a few shelves. So why not buy it, and do both at the same time.

Good news! I received a call from the transportation company today and they advised that my next shipment is scheduled to arrive the morning of Wednesday, June 8th. 9mm-124gr and .40cal 180gr will be back in stock very soon

Good call. I've shot the Super Nova but opted to buy the Nova as couldn't tell much of a difference besides a little bit less of a kick. The special stock you get with the Nova is nice. You definitely can't go wrong with either Benelli

Read an interesting article this morning stating that the Ruger 10/22 is now limited to <10 round magazines. I called the RCMP to verify as I have a 10/22 along with a few 25 round mags for it. They confirmed this is accurate and my magazines are now prohibited unless I can pin them to 10 rounds. Pretty annoyed by this news if I am honest. This was one of the main deciding factors when I purchased the Ruger. I wanted the option to run higher capacity magazines at the range.

    Article for reference:

Another great move for public safety.. How can people who know so little about the subject be in charge of making the rules?
