Who really cars if you're on the "list" or not - some weeks I am, some I am not. Currently, I'm at 64, that's 9 posts a day. Christ, some of you are probably pulling your pud that many times in a day. It's entertainment for some of us, community for some and a release for others.

There's often great discussion that allows people a venue to discuss/debate things in very loosely moderated forum - certainly other forums I am a member of are quite strongly moderated or there is a very strong expectation that you only post things of a certain flavour or they're just pretty much dead felling as compared to beyond despite those forum's boasts of how open and active they are. Calgary reddit - dead compared to beyond, Calgary Skyscraper - very tight in what is acceptable to be posted and what threads should be created, Calgary Puck - a not bad forum but I still find beyond to be quite a bit more active and well rounded in what is discussed.

Getting hung up on weekly numbers, go ahead if you wish - I'd rather see beyond remain a very active forum that keeps all kinds of issues active through great discussion/debate. Is it just a car forum any more, hell no. People like me are certainly not gear heads and although I truly appreciate all kinds of automotive stuff, I find more value in beyond as a place I can come and discuss current issues like the young lad found dead in a tree - that didn't even warrant any discussion on some other Calgary based forums which is quite sad IMHO as those other places consider themselves to be Calgary focussed forums.

I don't whore here nearly enough lol.
On the forum I moderate I have over 9000 posts in like 2.5 years, currently at like 10.5 posts per day lol. Maybe I'll make this weeks top 10 here, probably not.

I like the way this forum is setup. Not a ton of automotive talk all the time, but its nice to talk to local people. I have no issue for content as long as its in the correct spot and isn't full of bashing or straight post whoring.

The size of this forum is great, enough activity to keep you entertained but not so much you can't keep up with it all. Its also nice to recognize members from thread to thread.
