I'd give it a try if the products were actually available locally. I mean, right angle on micro USB to regular straight USB coiled expandable stretchy cable - Could walk into every store in Calgary and Alberta Cable, and not find it on the shelf.

Man, I purchased an iPad case Nov 23rd last year, arrived yesterday. I miss the good old days when this stuff took a couple weeks to arrive.

At this rate, anything ordered now w/free shipping from China will be lucky to show up at all this summer

But on the bright side, 2 circuit boards from Amazon took a week (e-packet)
And a mini-pc for my new router from AliExpress took 4 days (DHL) but I PAID for shipping, AND $20.00 brokerage fees.

One of my eBay purchases says it was delivered on March 6th (7 days after ordering), but when I click on the tracking info March 6th is when it arrived at the Calgary airport, no further info, no product received. Does this mean it's been stuck in Canada customs for 40+ days?

A package I ordered from China at the end of March just arrived yesterday. I contacted Canada Post and they said that there is a 50 day backlog at the Vancouver sorting facility where all China shipments go thru.

They are doing a pretty lousy job, considering everything is prepaid with booming business. Hope they get their shit together

It's not just orders from China that are slow. I ordered something from the US (literally a $75.00 piece of bent metal), it arrived at customs in Vancouver on the 22nd of May. It still hasn't been released. Canada Post says it will take 1-12 business days to clear, I have my doubts.
