test drove a V60 T6 today... nice car, good chasis... NO trunk space

Why build a wagon that doesn't have space? Its more of a hatch than a wagon.

I don't see how its any more benefical to the Sedan as I doubt there is much more liters of storage...

Its good looking I admin, built just like any volvo, so its solid, but the transmission is a really slow slushbox.

My B7 S4 Avant sadly will be on the market when i get home later in the month. Have a wedding to pay for etc so I can't justify keeping both. PM me if you want details.

If you can find a 2010 Audi A6 Avant (B7 chassis)...

Some of em got the 3.0L Supercharged engine that my S4 has and they come in 6 speed and you can get the S-Line package which improves the looks a bit.

So basically you get the new engine but the older (dated IMO) interior.

    Bump.

Looking at a small SUV for daily - CX-3 is at the top of my list. My general requirement is cargo space, AWD and good ground clearance - I live in Cold Lake and they don't plow the roads. I recently came across the new golf sportwagon and saw that it comes with AWD and has more space than the CX3 with the added bonus of the 1.8t being flashable. Anyone recommend anything in that segment and price range besides the golf?

Subaru Forester or Crosstrek? Not cars I would buy, but in the segment.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

GF already has a CX5 so no need for another forester type vehicle. Sat in the new crosstrek and wasn't impressed by the interior for a $34k car.

2013-2015 BMW X1 35i. because good clearance, 3.0 Turbo (tunable) and a shit load of fun. not tons of space but it's got a decent hatch.

Gfs CX5 lease expires next summer and will be looking at the X1 for sure as a replacement. Need something a little smaller/cheaper.

    No jeeps.

The C6/3rd gen (04-11) A6, didn't come in manual in North America. Been at least 15+ years since you could get a manual in an A6 here.

I'm a wagon lover now. Love the utility they provide while still being able to offer sports car characteristics in certain cases. I don't like SUVs because they can't do that.

I remember when I was in Switzerland, every second car was a wagon and every fifth car was a Porsche. People there love their wagons and Porsches!

We will probably never see the selection of wagons offered in Europe or even Asia. People here love their trucks and SUVs too much.
