    Default good oil stain remover?

    looking for a GOOD oil stain remover, for old oil stains. need to remove some from a driveway/garage. i tried 2 products, no dice and power washing. i need something uber strong, what works and where do i get it?

    how old and how much oil (ie: how dark...)

    i dunno, a few months old. i was scrubbing and rubbing and nothing. seriously i need a sandblaster or acid!

    I would recomend trying a product cald TSP. you can get it at rona and it worked well for me.. brus it in to the stains and let it sit and then presure wash it off.

    Simple green has always worked for me, mind you I always clean the stain within a few hours.

    Haha.. I was gonna say "try Coke". I've used gasoline before too with good results. With gas, pour some onto the stain and let it sit for a few minutes, then go back and scrub it with a steel brush and it works pretty good.

    +2 for simple green.

    If not that try something water soluble with a stronger solvent lustersheen hand cleaner maybe?

    I have used powered detergent like tide, just wet the stain down and cover it with the detergent and let it sit for a couple hours and then wash it off.

    those are one of the ones i tried, i bought the powder and used the whole carton, didnt do anything. even boiled hot water and mixed with that lol

    Simple green is good
    Iv'e used plain sunlight dish soap with good results as well

    use a little bit of gas & scrub
