If you could only eat 1 meal in Edmonton

I'm going to Edm. this Friday for a concert (atmosphere, of course!)

I won't get there until about 6 and the show starts at 8PM, so no time to fuck around looking for food.

What do y'all suggest? I don't like american/canadian food, and I don't like chains, so please don't suggest earl's or joey tomatoes.

Other than that, down for pretty much anything. I could go for some sushi, indian, or mexican perhaps (no, not julio
s barrio), or some DOPE pizza (but only if it' dope)

i'm staying at the Westin, near the Starlite room, would prefer somethin close

There is a place called the Funky Pickle Pizza, I have heard its good but haven't actually tried it myself

Funky Pickle is the Wicked Wedge of Edmonton. Its pretty good.

Drive through at McDicks, but that STILL isnt fast enough to get out of Edmonton quickly.. lol

Order any kind of steak, or P.Rib off their menu, and you'll wonder why we don't have a Sawmill in Calgary. I think they have 3 or 4 locations too.

like arif said dante's is pretty good thats right by west edmonton mall...i have a soft spot for da-de-o's and their oyster sandwich, that's whyte ave same with the funky pickle.

i had the "undecided" when i was there, 10 prawns, an 8oz steak and a 1/2 rack of ribs that came with garlic mashed potaotes and veggies, probably one of the best meals i have ever had!!!!
