I'm pretty sure the 3.0 is non-t

The 3.0 is not turbocharged.
That aside, it isn't the greatest engine, I think. It's pretty thirsty and doesn't provide that much power.
I'd shoot for either a used 1.8T, or a new 2.0T. The 1.8T can be easily modified to make plenty of power, and won't be nearly as thirsty at the same time. With a new 2.0T, you'd be getting more of the same.
- BOG SAGET!!!
unless you are into tuning and 'tweaking/fixing' cars, dont get the 1.8T.
they are not as reliable as the 3.0 engine (mainly b/c of the turbo).
the 3.0 is a nicer engine with better power (stock). the fuel consumption for me (half highway/half city) is about 11-12 liters per 100km...which is not bad at all for an AWD v6 3.0L engine.
overall the 3.0 is an ideal all-year round luxury compact sedan for calgary...i love mine.
the 1.8T depending on the model and options can range from yuck (cloth interior, manual adjust seats, 15" wheels, halogen lights, no sunroof, etc) to a standard equipped 3.0.
oh btw i have a civic too (2006 coupe)...its our fun econo car.
unfortunately I cannot afford to keep my 07 civic and the audi for the free cheap fun sessions.Originally posted by NoFlo

Look for an Audi with 2.7l Bi-turbo engine.
I know it comes in the S4 and I belive it came in the A6!
These cars are awsome and they haul ass!

you can find a 2.7t a6 for pretty cheap now adays and they have tons of power but eats alot of gas
if you plan to mod get the 1.8t, if you plan to keep it stock then get the 3.0.. 3.0 doesn't really offer much in terms of upgrades.. 1.8t with a chip and some injectors will outpower a 3.0
Yeah, I bought one recently. Lots of power (especially with the APR tune), but LOTS of weight, 4200lbs. Not a car you want to have as a fun toy, but it's fast for a wagon and convenient (for instance I'm driving to Oregon next week to pick up some fenders for my wife's `72 lemans next week, lol)Originally posted by Euro_Trash
Comes in the Allroad too
