Back up or restore.

Is there a software out there that can back up or make a recovery disc for a computer I put together myself?

is it windows xp?
if so
start--->run--->ntbackup
follow the instructions from there

windows vista?
has a different backup and restore software built into windows forget what it's called right now..I think its "Backup and Restore Center" It can be found in the start menu.

Both of these are very simple to use.

If you want something as a standalone software try norton ghost.
