Waiparous Tomorrow? (June 19th)

anyone up for a run tomorrow? i am going out to banff tonight and originally was going to raft/float banff to canmore.... but the weather looks better for offroading

so since i would be coming from the opposite direction we would meet at the same old staging area instead of timmy's (second one in, no sign for those that have not come before) lets say, 10:30?

But a friend has s D30 HP with ARB locker and D35 with a detroit i may swipe.

I would like to give some trails a try in my truck this weekend, how do you guys think a full size truck will do out there?

What is done to your full sized truck?

Nothing, but it is a US military 1 ton. It has a locked rear with low gears and good tow points. I think my downfall will be the 31's on it.

Realistically you could probably do the wiaparous trails but at the same time with all the rain we've had it may be a really good time to hold back taking closer to stock vehicles out there. Chances are you'll need at least MT's out there this weekend, and while I only have 31's on my Jeep I also have a really really short wheelbase.

I have 31's on my truck as well, but it does have a relatively short wheelbase (not any where near a Jeep) and a 2" lift and I hit my rear sometimes in Wai.

The run they are doing I did when it was supposed to be a "stocker" run.....kinda threw me off as it was a lot harder than I thought a stocker run was going to be. haha

I've run all the open trails in wiaprous in a heavy downpour in a stock jeep liberty. But the trails change, that was 5 years ago. But you guys should be fine.

Too bad this wasnt on sunday, I woulda been able to go.
