    According this website: http://pure-gas.org/station?station_id=2329

It is a Superstore's station and has octane 92 (ethanol-free).

    Any experience?

How Shell does it in Ontario is that 10% on 87. 5% on 89 and 0% on 91. This will average out to 5% required by the government and I would assume they would use the same formula in BC and Alberta.

Stick with V Power if you don't want ethanol in your fuel.

ESSO Premium doesn't have ethanol either...

    Anyone seen these sticker around?

    Shell Ethanol Sticker

I’ve only seen it at one station so far…

I'm pretty sure Petro Can does have Ethanol in all of it's grades.

My car doesn't like ethanol and I get a O2 sensor out of range code when I fill up there.

According to their website if their Gas has ethanol in it, the pump will have a yellow sticker but I’ve never seen one.

You'd think there would better regulations about labelling pumps!

By September, ALL refineries will have 5% ethanol.

Using Husky 87 (with their old 10% blend) made our work truck run like shit, and completely fucked the fuel gauge up. Can't wait to experience that in my personal cars now too.

yea I was reading that thread a while back about people complaining about husky no longer providing 94octane. I couldn't believe so many people were running this garbage gas on their stis and evos. I won't even run ethanol blend in my VW.

Most EVOs and STIs (and other cars) running on 94 are tuned for 94. Adjusting for knock and increasing the boost will yield more power on Husky 94 than Shell 91. Only down side is that your fuel economy suffers.

yea I know, but to me it just sounds like guys weren't willing to spend money to upgrade to a more efficient turbo, better IC and supporting fuel management/delivery modifications. So they decided to take the cheap route and just crank the boost and reflash the spark/fuel maps to compensate. So they end up having to run garbage gas to avoid detonation.

Does it have to be in all grades or can Shell/ESSO keep doing what they do? 10% in 87, 5% in 90 and none in 91.

I don't want to be driving around with my check engine light on all the time!

    Ethanol free FTW!

I've been running Husky 94 in my EVO since day one and it's always ran like a champ. Fuel economy on the other hand.......

I read one article that said all the fuels must be averaged to 5% (hence Shell having 10/5/0), but the rest don't say that, and I really have no interest in reading the actual legal document, too dry even for me.

Guess we'll find out in Sept., lol.
