BMW Sports Car Hybrid Announced! 328 horsepowers / 4.8 sec 0-100kmh

BMW is taking its Vision EfficientDynamics concept car to production and it'll will be their first plug in hybrid sports car. Info is that it will be a low slung 2+2 seater with gullwing doors and powered by a 3 cylinder turbo diesel with full hybrid engine at rear axle and 328hp. 4.8 0-100km/h and consumption of 75.1mpg and brake regenerative technology. Full charge on 2.5 hours.
Pretty impressive stats.

I never seen lights that reflect off of the body panels. Pretty neat idea. Though I'm not a huge fan of the taillights, the idea is pretty cool, especially at night.

Looks pretty cool. Could we be seeing lots of sporty performance hybrids in the future? It definitely looks like it.
