Default Nexus S on ICS overheating?

Notice some issue with battery life and phone turning into hand warmer lately (which isn't too bad for the last few days). Sounds like there is an issue with ICS on Nexus S and Google already pulled the OTA update.

Anyone got a good temporary solution other than going back to Gingerbread?

    How warm is it running?

From what i've read there is no temporary solution or fix :\

Might have to just put up with the heat, charging it more and whatever else ICS is causing.

I would personally roll it back because you're most likely lowering the lifespan of your battery and maybe some other components.

Warmer than usual but not hot. Need to find an app that reports internal/cpu temp.

What really piss me off is that I usually ran out of juice in about 14hrs with light use. Now it seems to last only 7 to 8hrs.

Try punching *#*#4636#*#* in your dialer and select "Battery Information"

if that doesn't work I think there is a battery monitor widget that displays all that information(?).

Yeah, you're going to want to carry a spare battery or keep your charger around you. But I still think you'd be shortening your battery's life and risk damaging other parts if this continues over a prolonged period.

I have been running NexusBeam 4.0.3 on mine for the past 2 months with no problems.
If you are rooted give it a shot.

So with 3G data off, phone is back to original battery life.

I'm not sure this is problem with exchange active sync or ICS. I went from 430mb per month to almost 5gb. That's the same period I notice battery issues.

Anyhow, when 3G is off, even on wifi, the phone is stone cold.
