Yeah, the slide is definitely an issue. When we were towing our 30' back and forth we would just extend the slide out when we needed to and the retract it afterwards. Never had an issue that way.
I saw one just now, it was about some lights on mcknight and 47th, how the lights on mcknight turn red even if there's no one lined up on 47th, are people that stupid that they think the lights are solely influenced by the inductive/visual sensors? There's even a statement of how they work on the CoC website ffs.
For 2 days I wouldn't care, anything going on past 5 days i'd think is an issue. I can tell you though I really think it's all to the tolerance of the neighbors, there is a guy in my area who has a tent trailer and RV and one of those old GMC camping vans. 14 years ago when I was in HS i was in this same area buying my first car and the guy had the same trailers and campervan in his front yard (remember because the trailer . Hes either got great relationships with his neighbors or he's killed them all and stored them in those sick early-80s era trailers out frontOriginally posted by codetrap
The blue is where my trailer would be for 2 days... meaning, the weekend while I outfit it.. And I'd park my truck across the street.
Some of the requests are hilarious. How some people have the time to constantly file such trivial reports is beyond me

I hate that.Originally posted by Perfect Dark
You've got space right across the street to park it if all else fails, the downside is you'd have to keep a vehicle hooked up to it and move it once every 36 hours to stay on the up and up.
We've got an asshole in our neighbourhood who does this every summer. He hitches up his mile long Airstream behind his half mile long diesel truck and parks right across the street from my house, then moves to the other side of the block, then the other.....for three weeks straight every summer then again for 2 in the fall. Guess what street he doesn't put it on, ever? The one HE lives on. Just uses the other three sides of the block.
I hate him. It literally takes up where 5 vehicles could park and that usually results in me losing space in front of my house. My car and motorbikes are in my garage, I park my truck on the street and there's never an issue till this entitled fuckwad comes out every summer.
I've never called him on it, even though it really pisses me off, because I'm not that guy 99% of the time. Finally though, last summer, SOMEONE did and then he was sneaking around finding places to put it all the time. It was like he was watching and just waiting for room to open up. It would appear at 4 a.m., 3 p.m., whenever. I think we only have a 24 hour tolerance for hitched trailers here but fuck me, you don't need three weeks to get your sorry old ass ready for RV season you prick.
The minute I saw it off of my street last summer, I moved one of my bikes out there and took 4' smack in the middle of his 50' spread and made it so he couldn't come back. We've got a heavily used park right across the street and an elementary school next door. The users of those things and the people who actually live on the street, like me, need the spots far more than that asshole.

How do you enlarge the pics? I tap on the thumbnail but nothing happens.
I guess it's pretty good for those that actually say 'closed, work order issued/added to future work list'
The map is cool, it's like playing SimCity when you look at it, 'fix my problem!' 'this person is an asshole' 'fken trailers'
Alright, fuck, time to download this.
I downloaded it when someone suggested it as an app in the Android Apps thread. Some people are so petty and stuff just seems funny.
Do you guys just go under recent or where are you finding all these? (Iphone version if it matters)

They're good people. But I still run into the issue with the slide being on the Left Side, so it would be out in traffic, which I don't think is a good idea... even with the little traffic I get.
Note to self... Don't invite HiTempguy1 to Beyond BBQ in the spring.. he's too easily butthurt...
Heres a pic of where I live, looks like from last spring actually. The blue is where my trailer would be for 2 days... meaning, the weekend while I outfit it.. And I'd park my truck across the street.
Is it me or did you intentionally draw the parking spot for your trailer to look like a penis?
Yeah, that is what I do, brings joy every day at the office.Originally posted by pheoxs

I'm glad the city just closes most of these
"Get out of the coffee shop and the nice warm trucks and fix the potholes and clear the storm sewers which is what the taxpayers pay you the big bucks to do"
Some of these are just priceless.
Someone should submit a complaint that there's too many ridiculous complaints, and the complainers should be banished from Calgary.

or... put little timmy on the early bus?
Thanks for posting that! I didn't want to install the app just to read through some of the dumb complaints hahaOriginally posted by speedcat
