Yea but then how would you be able to enjoy the utopia that is Pearson. Every Canadian should have to pay homage to the centre of the universe every time they travel internationally. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

When watching a youtube video, I'd rather look at a single static image for the entire duration of it than see the narrator's face for even a second.

If the flight has to go through Pearson I'll just stay home. No joke planning a Britain trip next year and basically planning based on direct flights out of yyc. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

How is a direct flight from Calgary to Cancun a 10 hour travel day? Unless your resort is in Tulum or Cozumel…This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Dunno
30 minutes to drive to airport
2-3 hours prior to flight
5-6 hours in air
1 hour fucking around on arrival
However long it takes to transfer to hotel ( never been but I hear this is not nothing )
~10 hours checks out.

I’m used to hillbilly Sask airports for int flights, where you can show up 1 hour before and still have time to park, check luggage and have a shitty coffee. Calgary is probably a little more logistically time consuming. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Not if you have nexus. But travelling with a couple young kids makes everything take just a bit longer. It adds up.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Not mine, but a friend's.
When you book an Uber XL for your famiky of four to get to the airport, and the dude shows up in a 4-runner with captains chairs, and he can't take 4 people and 4 suitcases. So he tells you to book a 2nd, regular Uber, to carry 2 people.
Fucks sakes.

Just checked Ubers site and the XL class seems hilariously watered down these days.

The resort we have booked is absolutely perfect for our family otherwise we would. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
They gave us other options, but they all sucked.
I've been looking forward to this resort almost as much as the 4 year old.
All good, we will survive, but screw AC.
Called a real taxi, they insisted on a full-size van (despite him requesting a mini-van, then the real taxi company took like an hour to arrive, and he was super late to the airport. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
All in all, it was a mess. Two ubers would have been faster for sure.
I got a ride in a dodge durango once, and the driver told me it met the qualification for Luxury (leather seats) and XL, so they could basically take any ride that came up. Durango is about the perfect size for an XL too.
I wish Uber had an option that for $2 you could see the list of available vehicles and select one from that list.

Uber XL is seating for 6. I guess that excludes the Lariat, if I ever want to burn money.

third row seating in a 4R is pretty hilarious to expose paying passengers to
