I wasn't really excited for these until I saw it in person. I saw a Black GT loaded up for $48k and on my way out of the lot it looked like they had an orange ecoboost with performance package..
I have priced a few and $40k for a loaded up ecoboost seems reasonable for the numbers it puts down, but am wondering if anyone has take them out for a spin yet and what their thoughts are.
I do see a 14 GT can be had for the same money as an ecoboost though, which makes it harder to decide.
I like the idea of 4 banger economy as a daily, decent numbers, better winter ability and the new interior plus the IRS.
But I still like 425hp.
What would you do?

GT.... the only people who buy non V8 mustangs are housewives and teenage girls.
How do you figure the ecoboost is better in winter?

I havent discounted the 14 GT entirely but the interior is so dated, and I am not spending $50k on a 2015 GT. The girl statement was true when the non V8 option was the slow 3.8L and ugly and only cost $22k. We'll see if it holds true down the road for this one, even if it could hold its own against a lot of the 2010 and earlier manly GTs.Originally posted by Tik-Tok

Ecoboost would be better in the winter just due to less torque on tap from idle.
I was pretty sure I started this thread too lol

Gotta downsize to one car for a few years.... So probably something 1/10 the fun, but ill try not to go under 200 hp
Just wait till next summer. Ford always has big incentives through summer.Originally posted by jonnycat
