Wish it came with a fixed roof. Props to Mazda for keeping the weight in line though

Looks better than the last one but the tail lights aren't exactly pretty.

Nice for a Miata, feel like the tails are ripped from Jaguar though.. F type-ish

Surprised it took this long to show up on beyond.

    The new Miatas look great!!!

My room mate is currently looking for one for his project car because of the weight and the fact they are rwd.

I'm looking forward to this car for sure.

Even if our market gets the 2L, the rest of the world 1.5L is promising too.

yeah i was the one to suggest it to him. he wanted something light and rwd. Miata is perfect for that. Dunno what he's going to do engine wise, he wants to go ls, im saying keep it japanese and go sr or 2jz or 1jz...

Is he building a track car? I wouldn't do LS then. Spec Miata's (which don't have the best suspension according to M.net) regularly beat LS swap's around the track. K24 swap would be sick though.

Didn't know you could put a fwd engine and make it work in the rwd miata...but if so could be a sick little swap for such a small car.

I have liked most gens of the miatas...except the last one or two. Don't know what they were thinking with the last one.

This, to me, will probably not be hard at all for them to sell lot's of.

I bet a 2016 will nearly top $50K out the door after options and dealer fees/taxes ect.

The base model NC with the soft stop starts at just under $30k. The GS and GT have the PRHT.

This new gen doesn't look like it'll even offer the PRHT option so it should be cheaper...
