How much is the house you sold now? 1.2? More? Imminent housing crash you can buy it back for $888k?

If I recall correctly, it was assessed for 1.2 back in 2016 when I moved. Paper values are not that helpful for unique properties like that one.

It's only worth what somebody else is seeking to pay, so who knows. As I understood it, the person who bought it wasn't even a car enthusiast. Her sister lives 2 houses down and she just wanted to be closer to them.

I think the low purchase cost of a condo in Calgary makes sense if you plan to live there for a long time. My condo in Arriva pops up from time to time, it's still the same price I sold it for back in the mid 2000's

Flip house that was previously occupied by loser druggies went up on our street last week, first house for sale on our street since we bought in 2021. They are asking $240k more than we paid for a similar listing, I can’t see it selling anywhere near that. Will update Friday if Jessica Chan has shifted this overpriced garbage by Friday this week or not lol.
