Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet on sale at the moment. It has a Full HD (1920x1200) display, so pretty good.
    32GB for $155
    64GB for $195

Got the 64GB for my son which he uses to play Minecraft on. Can also run the aforementioned streaming services and the sound coming out of it is fine.

Very simple to install Google Play Store just by googling. https://www.howtogeek.com/232726/how...n-fire-tablet/

Kiddo's been rocking that one since October, other than stock microphone cuts out - no issues.

Been reading up on cheap tablets. Leaning towards the Lenovo 10e recommended above.

The 7-8 support for Chrome OS vs lots less for Android is a selling feature.

got the 10e for my dad
Personally think ChromeOS runs differently when it's touch only so I ended up getting the keyboard stand and a BT mouse
The keyboard stand only has one angle and no touchpad / therefore no palm rest area...

My dad is used to ChromeOS anyways from a chromebook... I couldn't get it to install the Wyze app though, not sure if the play store on ChromeOS is crippled compared to Android or maybe I'm just missing something.

RFD mentioned Play store not having all apps, and one potential cause is the ChromeOS not being the most currect version. Maybe worth checking if any updates to OS required and try Play store again.

Got our kid the Fire 10 Kids tablet for Christmas and it's been great with all the preload apps. She was complaining about the timer we set on App and Video time for about a week and now she's used to it and we can really control how much she uses it. For <$200 it's been a great purchase.

On Windows computers there are separate logins for each User, with different apps/profiles for each.

Would like each kid to be able to use tablet and only see their apps, with saved progress, etc.

Is it possible to have multiple User profiles with a tablet, either Android or Chrome?

@cidley69 The Lenovo 10e is $129.00 on sale right now ($300 off). I don't know anything about this tablet, but it looks like a good deal and the reviews are good.

I have the less rugged version Duet with same guts. It's fine for most tasks. Again beware of some apps may not be available thru Play Store being ChromeOS instead of Android.
