Anyone got some feedback with studed hakkas? Ive been researching some and it sounds like the studded haks arent as bad on dry pavement as most. Been running blizzaks on the f150 and with 4A its pretty fucking amazing but everyone and their mom swears by haks so i think i have to try them.

I've been running Hakkas for a long time.. including the Nordman versions and I would say they're ALL better than the "Best" winters, but its incrementally better, not life changing. I would say Hakka R3 is that much better than Xice 3, blizzaks etc..

Threw my winters on, maybe a little early this year but I didn’t want to risk running summers much longer.

It’s more than cold enough in the mornings to justify winters.

I’m going to do mine any day now when I find a spare few minutes.

It had been a little sketchy around corners for the last couple weeks.

Studded in the city is way overkill. If you travel in the mountains sure.

Tossed the winters on my X5.

Hopefully I don’t need BMW branded air in my tires or my tpms will go off.

I say studs are more important in the city. More morons to dodge and avoid, highly polished ramps and intersections. Mountain roads with less traffic and more snow provides better traction.

I can think of lots of occasions where studs would have been beneficial in the city.

From my experience the benefits of studded tires outweigh the negatives. I'll always run studded. (maybe if I lived in a place like Vancouver I wouldn't)

I have my winters on already.

Going to be a weird one for me, first time without AWD in many years - and an EV.

    Blizzaks should be good.

This. Your chances of running into polished ice in the city (ramps, stop signs, red lights, hills, parking lots, etc) are significantly higher than in the mountains.

Team Studded all the way (for her pleasure).

    Update on Nokian Tires

I guess a lot of Nokian tires are made in Russia, and Nokian has shut down the russian factory and moving production to other factories but it sounds like they could be in short supply soon, till they get ramped back up in other countries.

Is it stamped on on tire what country they are made in?
