    Newey isn't retiring!
Adrian Newey has said for the first time that he expects to join another Formula 1 team following his decision to leave Red Bull.

I really hope its Williams at this point. He has a good history there and left because he wanted a bigger role within the team. What if Williams recognizes bringing him on board and then eventually into a leadership position. Offer him a small equity portion within the team. With Newey there they could also start attracting better staff from other teams and probably bigger sponsors trying to get back in with them. It could be the big restart that Williams needs to properly be competitive again.

Not that Newey needs money, but Williams can't even afford a spare chassis. Better chance it's Aston Martin, but pretty sure it's Ferrari at this point.

Newey on board would bring the sponsors and the money. They’ll have to offer him a piece of ownership but it’ll be worth every share.

This would actually add some reasoning for Albon re-signing with this shit team(besides him having no other options of course). I'm pretty sure Newey has stated it's not about money any longer, he has plenty now, so it's not a real far fetched idea.

I wish Merc would figure out a driver for 2nd seat. I'm a lot more interested in what they're doing now, knowing I can cheer for them next year. You'd think Sainz would do what it takes to get in there before he is stuck with taking an Audi seat. Worst case it's one year in a shit car, after that it's a crap shoot with the new regs anyway. At least Merc has a proper F1 pedigree. Seems better than gambling on Audi.

Our upgrades worked fine haha. Both McLaren drivers would’ve beat max if it wasn’t for max’s tow he got on the last run. And their race pace on Friday practice was the best of field. Fully on the hype train tmr.

For Imola, that was a fun ending.
