Good luck everyone flying WJ this month, and possibly next. I know several third party maintenance companies have been on hiring sprees to prepare for a walkout, but there's not enough AME's in Canada to maintain their fleet.

Edit: I'm not going to defend unions, I personally am not fond of them, but for reference... Licensed A&P's in the US at the larger airliners START at about $115gCAD a year and top out at $185gCAD. Westjet starts at $69g and tops out at $92g.
I'm hoping to convince Mrs.Tok it's time to abandon Canada.
