nope no test drives. It's RHD the seller would prefer the buyer to wreck the transmission AFTER he paid for the car. Common sense says that 90% of the Canadian drivers will not be able to jump into a manual transmission RHD car and drive away properly.

Test rides would be possible though.

Feel the WRATH of the RB series engine!!!

^^^ That is not true , alot of people can drive RHD. Does it have all inspection sheets? You should add that.

You must have to be some kind of god to wield a RHD car, especially a Skyline. I bet you were one of the "10%" that could jump in and drive away.

Yes, you truly must be a god of driving to shift with your left hand. As a mere mortal I look up to your limitless driving ability.

    hmm, $15000 for a $10500 ( not to mention slow 4-door) car..

I don't get to drive this myself this is my friend's car.

any no matter what you say there is NO test drives whatsoever. There had been incidents and he is NOT happy about some people who think they are going to be ok driving a RHD grind his transmission to hell just by test driving. Not to mention messing up the signal lever with the wiper lever and almost crashed the car.

please be considerate. If you haven't done it don't say you know how to do it, it's like riding a bicycle, you just can't fake it.

To insure a RHD in BC obviously it has all the inspection sheets otherwise it would not even be on the road. So to answer your question, yes there are inspection sheets completed with the car. I'm quite sure though that Alberta (or other Eastern provinces) will not accept the vehicle inspection sheets from BC. So if you intend to drive it outside BC, prepare to get it inspected once again before you can get insurance for it.

the car has a total of 85K km on it last I saw it. yes only 85000km less than an average 1998 Corolla here.

The reason that the price has gone up is because of the extra parts he put in well worth over 5K. (All the listed parts are newly installed AFTER the car shipped over to Vancouver, and the parts themselves were bought new.) Oh and this is buy sell 101 for ya: obo means or best offer. So go ahead and lowball him see what can you get out of the deal.

    manual transmission yes.
no accidents on history (well none claimed anyway)
auction grade I'll have to ask and get back to you on that.

    so what is your point?

someone would be in the market for a light tuned 4dr Skyline. 2dr Skyline is the fad 4dr Skyline got taste.

is that not a cool car to behold.

Why mock this guy? I can see his point, the average person that is going to look at this car probably wants to take it for a joy ride with no intention of buying it. Ive broken my right arm and had to drive with my left arm, I couldnt see it being a problem for a person to shift but thats just me. If it were my car, i dont think i would want to let ever 16 year old that just got his licence drive it either, but if the guy actually came to me with cash I would. But anyways a smart car guy wouldnt go out and buy it privately for 15,000 either, when u could go to import concern or the other JDM dealers and buy it for less than $10000. Its still an amazing car in a 4 door, but i think the whole idea of owning a skyline is over rated now that every guy and his neighbor can own one.

The problem isn't the car itself, but the adament refusal to test drive the car before purchase. Definately signals that the seller has something to hide - even unintentially. This fact, coupled by the mere obvious fact that the seller is trying to unload the car quickly (from my understanding, the Skyline phenomena didn't even start until early this year). I don't know about you guys, but if I was in the market for a Ferrari, let alone a 15 year old nissan, i'd HAVE to test drive it before I even considered driving it.

If you bring 15000 to the deal and show the buyer the cash and the enthusiasm you might get to drive it.

Again I would still say generally NO test drives as I have to cover my ass this is my friend's car. Stop bullying me

Make sense from both sides. Buyer want to drive, selling afraid buyer can't drive.
