Has anyone taken the CSC? Just wondering how difficult you thought it was and how long it took/should take to finish.
Thanks.

7 out of 35 ppl passed in my class
i got a 58%
60% is a pass
that thing is stupid hard
oh yea, $150 to retake the test
If I got an 80% in Finance317..... does that mean I have a good chance of passing this thing?

I'm not trying to belittle you but 7/35 passed? That's brutal. I passed no prob on my first try and didn't find it that hard. And I had no previous finance education. Just read all the books and you'll do fine.Originally posted by xDiMSuMx

If you have taken a few finance classes it shouldnt be that bad, but the reading is sooooooo dry....
I am on the first book...its all been review thus far.
i am wondering what are you ppl planning on doing after you have your CSC?? what kind of job will you be looking at??
do you need a degree before taking the csc?
I"ve taken it...it's two tests. I passed both but I have a finance background. You don't need anything to take the test
Will taking this course open up doors that were previously closed?
The course is required for certain careers. It gives you a designation and qualification to purchase stocks/bonds/mutual funds for others. So if you plan on being a Financial Planner this designation is required.Originally posted by crazyning

Yaay, looking forward to this course in the fall. Is it more theory based or case problems based? (Im taking it at MRC)

it's all theory......we didn't do any case problems. Hopefully for your sake they changed the prof for this year
Think it will be Mahesh Kumar seeing as all my Finance courses are with him. I really can't get on his bad side. Never had him before, how is he?Originally posted by 91_Integz
