when cut open, the rambutan unfortunately fails miserably to deviate from its outwardly testicular appearance, revealing an inside that looks for all the world exactly how you'd expect the contents of a scrotum to look.

I understand you attitude as this is Calgary...but in most other cities and abroad architects design as well as do what you claim only you can do!!!
First off, wow… second off it sounds like more like you’re the one that needs to let some air out of YOUR head and lower YOUR ego.

However, what is the need for Architectural Technologists or Contract Admin’s if the Architect is capable of doing it all? BTW, I’m curious as to what office you work in? Is it a smaller office?

Nope… never. I don’t have the slightest desire to “design”. I leave that to the “architect”.

It's sad though all the tecnologists I work with and have worked with were great and their is a mutual respect and it takes one person to give them a bad image....good on you for that.
My age is irrelevant. Work experience > age.

And I understand the entire process as I have witnessed it first hand. I know the scope of the Architects job in a large scale office and it does not include them being involved to any significant degree in the working drawings or construction of the building.

And I’m sorry I’ve skewed your opinion on technologists, I apologize. However I’m just telling yea how it is and how I’ve experienced it to be. And obviously some of it must be true since your rather defensive on the whole issue. I think your blowing it way out of proportion and looking for an argument.

Wow, 88CRX, did you ACTUALLY bump a quote from August '06 to continue a "My Dick Is Bigger" contest?

Doesn't that make you lose by default?
