Dodge Demon Concept

Here is somthing I just came across. The Dodge Demon concept, kind of looks like S2k+Viper right now imo, interesting that they kept it under wraps. It will be interesting to see what comes from this.

seems silly, they built a ground up platform for this car when the slk is RIGHT there, and then stick a 172hp motor in it?

I agree that it resembles the s2k (the one mommy left on a neighbor's doorstep).

Not an attractive car in my opinion.

Using the SLK platform = expensive. Crossfire wasn't cheap based on the SLK.

I think this will be a competitor to Solstice with a high 20's starting price.

Just to show that why Honda need to down market the S2000.

So I guess it is supposed to start around $15k us. It is RWD, 6spd. That is all it has going for it in my books sofar.
2.4L 172 HP isnt great, the new SRT-4 engine would be great, but would increase the cost a good amount, and then we have the styling and looks

This seems to target Solstice/Sky. If it get approved, I won't be surprised they will have a version to match the performance of Redline.

Yah, I can think that the turbocharged engine would be the exact line up, I wonder the price on that though. I am assuming it would be less as $15k is alot lower than the $22k solstice. It could be a good competitor. I just know I would never get one, the S2K is just too appealing.
