    Default Yet ANOTHER whats my car worth thread

    at least mine is a little more original. ive come to the conclusion that my car will never be a gt-r so i want to try and plan this out before i get too much into my car. details as follows:

    1987 Nissan 200sx Turbo
    168,000 kms
    CA18DET swap done about 1500kms ago
    Microtech lt8s standalone EMS
    front mount intercooler
    stainless steel intercooler piping
    Apexi avc-r electronic boost controller
    Walbro 255lph fuel pump
    earl's hi flow fuel filter
    innovative technology wideband a/f w/ gauge
    Prosport ghostface gauges (boost, water temp, a/f, premium series tach has shift light and beeper)
    lightweight flywheel (came with motor)
    SPEC stage 4 unsprung clutch (being installed right now)
    hks bov
    tenzo-r seats
    new exhaust piping w/magnaflow muffler (was on the car when i bought it)
    Perma-cool electric fan
    Megan racing s13 front strut bar

    do you happen to know if there is the brain for an alpine monitor wired into that thing (would be behind the deck) since i cant seem to find it and that is the last car i had before i lost it...

    there definatly isnt. i pretty much changed everything back there, and i didnt see anything of the sort lol

    its worth a lot to me as i have about $12,000 into it including the origianl price of the car i took a $5000 loss when i wrote off my integra so im used to losing money...


    but more realistically, considering the cost of the engine, ecu, clutch and boost controller, i would think that 5-6000 wouldnt be out of the question....

    I dont see why you wouldnt get close to 6 with that thing.
    Very tastefully done.
    And she looks hella clean inside and out, and especially under the hood.

    the diff is from a 280zx, it would probably be easier to just find an lsd. the homemade coilovers is a genius idea for a car with no aftermarket support though...

    thanks i appreciate it. i clean under the hood somewhat regulary and have been removing all non-essential wires. i also plan on taking out the carpet soon to give it a really good cleaning. other than that it just needs some matching rims and the hatch to be painted.

    the diff is soo hard to figure out a lsd for, i think a guy in australia makes one but it costs like 1500 i think and that is if he still does it, but yeah doing up the coilovers like that is a awesome idea. and you can get springs for this car cant remember the company and then i think it is 300zx for the front or rear struts and 280 for the other... and then it would be awesome
