My company is going proxy next year. They've already blocked MSN about 2 weeks ago.
Not only that, they are taking away our offices and putting us into cubicles. They are also taking away our gym room, game room (ping pong, foosball, pool) and cafeteria.
All of these at a company that doesn't give out year-end bonus, or stock option, or salary adjustment (my salary has seen a total of 2.5% increase over the last 2 years) ... :-P
So for those of you who are just getting your internet usage monitored and filtered, life ain't too bad :-P

For those you messaged me about the download for FireFox.

    http://www.everythingusb.com/firefox.html

Make sure your U3 is plugged in before you load.

I'm seeking out a 'easy to use for noobs' Proxy plug in now.

Just a random tip: If you find your web mail is blocked, example http://www.gmail.com, use https://www.gmail.com instead.

At our company we also log IM and record phone calls for some employees to comply with SOX.
Wasn't the Sarbanes-Oxley act signed by George Bush, meaning it has no bearing in Canada?

SOX applied to any publicly traded company in the US. So any company trading on the NYSE.

Private companies based in the US don't have to comply.
