    Default Matchmaking career

Is anyone currently in the matchmaking business?

Would you mind giving me some insights to being a matchmaker, please?

    - Education (schooling) requirements, personality required (I've been told I'm good @ chit-chats), job committment (like just a 8-5 punch-in punch-out, or devote your entire free time to get things going)

    Thanks

    lol, Honestly?

Sure this would be a wicked way to meet chicks, but as a career?

Can't assist you with your questions i'm afraid, but i read an interview with the creator of plenty of fish recently.... VERY interesting and insightful. May be worth a Google look.

the guy is a multi-millionaire with a stacked up garage.

In all honesty, to seriously compete with existing companies you would need substantial financial backing. Even then it would be hard to make a name for yourself and it would be a risky endeavour. In my opinion, to be successful in that industry you have to be well known, to attract alot of people in order to make the best matches. It's not just something you whip up at home and hope it works out.
