I can't explain why, but seeing a throttle body bolted on with hex head bolts rather than allen head bolts makes me feel funny. I can't explain why lol.

The rest of it looks great!

If you take anything I have to say seriously, you're gunna have a bad time.

Got it on the dyno today. Kept the boost low for now till I get a few miles on it.

446 Whp at 14 psi. Im pretty happy with it. Hell, im just happy it survived. Oil pressure looks great.

more to come in the summer

A good shot of it before i got it on the rollers. Hasnt seen daylight in so long..lol. Im proud of myself...so damn clean.

That should be loads of fun! What kind of power are you shooting for when you turn up the boost?

    THANKS!

Got a few issues solved between yesterday and today.

Had a pretty nasty timing drift (stupid VR sensors) but fixed it, all good now

Had a clunk in the front end over bumps, turned out engine was TICKLING the rack. Made a few
1/4" collars on the plasma table, slid em in, all good. No more clunk.

Things left to fix, are the noisy vvti gear (assuming its fucked, get new) and Cooling still...maybe i have bubbles in there still (hope so)

Time to put it under a cover for a few months and work on other peoples shit now (=

Mr2 is coming up. I'll probably pull the motor this summer and rebuild it. 4age stuff is cheap. I'm going to remove the Ct26 and throw on a t3/t4 58 trim.. Should do 300 wheel. Gong to run it on a Megasquirt 3x

The 240 ate all my money for now

So, how do i put this

Ive decided to do the responsible thing for now, and part the car out. Its been a great ride, and a learning experience...but i need to think about my family for at least the next 3 years or so, get out of debt, etc.

There will be more builds in the future from me. Im hoping to have an MK4 in at least 4 years.

The car just requires too much time to finish, and i keep chasing my tail with issues because i rush everything because i have no choice. My next build will be more structured, methodical, and planned out.

Thanks to everybody that has followed this build. Its been truly awesome, and the years it did run properly, were awesome. Just need to move on and recollect myself.

Awesome build man, I still remember coming to your garage and seeing all the work you put in on it. One of the best builds!

    Good luck!
