    Default Domain name and hosting

Trying to register a domain name, get it hosted and build a website for a vacation rental I own.
Being a tech moron I'll need web site templates and easy registration hosting...who to use?
I like go daddy simply for their commercials.

I use http://www.dynadot.com/ for the domain name.

Found it to be the best, had it recommended to me by someone I know who runs his own servers and a few sites.
As for the website itself, I don't know about that. Can't comment on the hosting part as he hosts my site of course.

But dynadot seems to have a free site builder if you get your domain through em, and they also offer hosting.
If this is a business related site I wouldn't waste your time with any template site builder. Get it done properly.

I've used Doteasy for years. They've worked well for me.

Weebly/Wix/Webs. All in the $12-$20/mo range. Sites look very templatey/ameteurish, but leaps and bounds better than what you'll find on GoDaddy/Doteasy/etc.

I've seen squarespace pop up enough lately that it's the first place I'd look if I were in the need for a cheap site.

I have my site up on squarespace. It's fairly easy to use and the customer support is excellent. There isn't a HUGE selection on templates, but the ones available get the job done. You can also try it out for free for a certain period of time!

you should list your vacation rental on www.AirBNB.com instead of building your own website, you would probably get a lot more traffic and all payment systems are taken care of for you.
