I understand the DIY portion of it and admire your enthusiasm, but I am dealing with a DIY Reno and it's more work re-do crap work then if they had left it old and I could have done it right from the start!

The top tiles of the brown wall, what is going on there?

Pattern is different because I didn't have a cutter 24in long.

It doesn't bug me.

I actually like the brown tile look, most likely would fool most buyers being the way it is/was. Pretty good for a newb, gotta give you credit.

Oh fuck, I totally forgot to update this.

I was busy installing air ride in the car

My dad is helping me out, bought a wet saw, and replaced the backerboard on the other side.

Had gray tiles and just went simple with the pattern. That's what it looks like right now.

He can only help me on the weekend and our schedules aren't really matching till Canada Day.

I'm not liking this shower renovation at all. The tile choices, are ... meh. way too busy, so many different tiles, and schemes. man. shoulda just kept it simple.

Don't like it? It won't be busy once I put dark/black grout on it. Essentially, there's only two colors involved.

Add some ceiling lights and it'll be good.

Is there a reason you went black and brown? I'll admit it's a bit odd (to me) but providing you like it. Keep up the good/hard/budget work.

The black/brown was my initial choice for a modern scheme but it seemed too dark when I tried it out, so I went with the lighter gray. Then I fucked it up.

So went back with it and with black grout, I think it would look great. It's different for sure and wanted to experiment with the scheme. I didn't want an all-white bathroom.

I've always liked accent walls, as my bedroom shows.
