That's the absolute last thing to worry about right now lol. Yes, they will be replaced.

Its in my punch list along with lighting, window coverings, etc.

Pretty sure your dishwasher hookup isn't to code, it should be before a P trap, right now it can vent sewer gasses into the dishwasher.

Yes, dishwasher hook up isn't to code.

Look to replace your shut offs. The ones you have are old and can either seize or leak or break off when you go to turn them.

    Replace with mini ball valves.

Also the water line take off before the shut off that goes to the dishwasher. What if there's a leak there? How does that get shut off? Just a thought. Maybe correct that especially that you're in an apartment.

Looks like your place is on the the beltline on 14th or 15th? Anyway I'd tear down the wall to open it up. What's the sq footage of the place?

That's the old plumbing and were changing it since the sink is deeper. Thanks!

Nah, that wall is too critical to tear down and too costly for me at the moment.

I'll do it later when there's more funds. I'm gonna live in it for a while after the renovations are done.

So attached is how we currently left it. I'm still thinking of a way of how to work the piping out but based on your suggestions, I came up with something.

This is a crude rendering of how it's going to go. It may not work because adapters and reducers add extra length so I have to get creative. The length of that dishwasher feed is the tricky part.

Run dishwasher drain line on the line between the two sink drains.

Yup, my bad. Suppose to go towards the copper pipe for flow.

    Like this...
Copper pipe is behind and attached to sink.
This isn't perfect but I can't show it how I'd like to.

EDIT: Ya, you got it... my post was too late.

EDIT2: Just keep the dishwasher attachment on the top so you're not draining the sink into the dishwasher line.

And it may not have been said but make sure you have a slight decline from sink 2 to sink 1 for the drain. Helps alleviate back flow into sink 2 from sink 1 and such.

With the kitchen's major scope finalizing, it's time to move on to the bathroom.
