It wasn't swimming... It was walking in the shallow part of the lake. People think he was going to drown it because it was "swimming" but the animal is walking. You can see the guy standing in the water after he falls off the animal.

I hate to see people hurt but this would have been a better video if the nubtard was mildly injured by the animal, as a repercussion for such stupidity.

BTW - in many areas, the number of moose attacks outnumber bear attacks. People think moose are gentle herbivores but can, depending on the time of the year, be completely nuts.

That's the problem with video cameras being everywhere these days, can't be young anymore without the whole world seeing your stupidity. Most people watching the vid aren't as drunk so the humour is lost.

As far as prosecuting him, good grief, what a waste of money. Not to mention totally ruining someones life, giving them very good reason to turn to a life of crime and get involved with gangs. Our justice system is a self-feeding organism lately, just there to build them up into lifers.
